Installation of a compressor station with a total nominal output of 15 000 Nm3 of compressed air at 0,75 Mpa, including a cooling system and electro installation.

Power Plant Opatovice is the leading supplier of elektricity and heat in the Pardubice and Hradec Králové regions. In addition to the thermal power plant, the company operates also backup heat sources in its vincinity. The power plant in Opatovice nad Labem has been in operation since the 1960s and gradually undergone modernization to minimize environmental impact. The installation of the compressor station took place in three stages.

Veskom delivered to the power plant a functional compressor station, including the cooling of turbo-compressors, electro installation and two building extensions. The ultimate power of the compressor station will be 15 000 Nm3 of compressed air at 0,75 Mpa and a pressure dew point of 3 °C after the last stage.

Mounting part

Veskom designed and installed a compressed air system solution in the compressor station. All ducts, suction chambers, compressor stations control system for remote control and monitoring. Veskom also carried out the delivery and assembly of VN (6kV) and NN (0,4 kV) including electrical switchboards.
